The Zeiss Clinical Standard is not a large microscope. However, it will
take all the accessories that Zeiss made and will do everything from
phase-contrast, to metallurgy. In my opinion, it is in a class by itself and
was the last of the great Zeiss microscopes.
Beginning at the top: we have two
Zeiss CPL 10x widefield eyepieces (one focusing). The monocular tube has a
1.25x mag, providing a little extra magnification. There are three Zeiss
objectives 10x, 40x, and 100x, and we have added a 4x from our stock to round
out the package. There is a built-in mechanical stage, a centerable .9 flip-in
condenser, a built-in field iris, and a variable 6v 10w halogen illuminator
built into the base.
At the present time we have over 20 of these Zeiss Clinical Standards.
2 year warranty on mechanics and optics, 1 year on light source.
